The following policies outline how KareTap virtual urgent care works and what patients can expect.
Hours & Availability
Standard weekday visits are available Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM Eastern Time.
After-hours weekday visits and weekend visits are offered as premium services with limited availability.
Telehealth Consent
By using KareTap services, you consent to receiving medical care through telehealth, including secure messaging, photo review, and video visits when needed.
You understand that telehealth has limitations and that not all conditions can be diagnosed or treated virtually. If in-person care is required, you will be advised accordingly.
Eligibility & Location Requirements
- Patients must be physically located in Florida at the time of the visit.
- Services are available for patients ages 2 and up.
- Valid identification and accurate medical information may be required.
Medication Prescribing Policy
Medications may be prescribed when medically appropriate and at the provider’s discretion.
KareTap does not prescribe controlled substances, opioids, stimulants, or benzodiazepines.
Refund Policy
Payment is required before a visit begins. Once a provider has reviewed your information or responded to your visit, the visit is considered rendered and is non-refundable.
If a visit cannot be completed due to technical issues or is declined before provider review, a refund may be issued at KareTap’s discretion.
Work, School & Travel Notes
Work, school, and travel notes are available as a $20 add-on after a medical visit, when medically appropriate.
Notes are not guaranteed and are not provided as a standalone service.
Emergencies
KareTap is not intended for emergency medical conditions.
For chest pain, trouble breathing, severe allergic reactions, neurological symptoms, or rapidly worsening conditions, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
